The fine (but important) print: You will have to pay for your own airfare to Japan, accommodation (~35,000 JPY) and course costs (~100,000 JPY unless your University is is an exchange partner with Hokkaido as listed here, optional field trip costs (~40,000 JPY) and food (~3000 JPY/day), and you should allow some money for tourism.
